Liu Ting, born in Jiangsu in 1988, graduated from the Department of Fine Arts, PLA Academy of Art in 2010. She is a member of the China Artists Association and currently lives and works between Beijing and Quanzhou. She has been selected for the China National Arts Fund Young Artistic Talents Creation Support Project; the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles (CFLAC) Youth Literary and Artistic Creation Support Program; and the CFLAC “New Era Young Artistic Talents Training Program – Painting 100” Project. She has held solo exhibitions at institutions including Jining Art Museum, Prince Kung’s Mansion Museum, and East Gallery. Her works have been featured in numerous exhibitions, including the National Exhibition of Fine Arts, the Beijing International Art Biennale, and the National Comprehensive Material Painting Biennale, and have been exhibited at the National Art Museum of China, China Art Museum (Shanghai Art Museum), Chinese University of Hong Kong Arts Centre (Shenzhen), Guan Shanyue Art Museum, and Times Art Museum, among others.
