Biography
Tang Hui (1968–) is from Wuhan, Hubei. He graduated from the Affiliated High School of Hubei Institute of Fine Arts in 1987 and from the Mural Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1991, where he also stayed on to teach. He received his doctoral degree in 2019 and is currently a professor, head of the Mural Department, doctoral advisor, and a member of the Academic Committee at the Central Academy of Fine Arts.
His works are collected by institutions such as the National Art Museum of China, Hubei Museum of Art, Central Academy of Fine Arts Museum, University of Hong Kong Art Museum, M+ Art Museum in Hong Kong, Ibaraki Prefectural Government in Japan, The Kennedy Center in the USA, and Hongkun Art Museum in Beijing.
