Biography
Ma Liuming, born in 1969 in Huangshi, Hubei, Studied at the Oil Painting Department of Hubei Institute of Fine Arts from 1987 to 1991. Since 1993, has been working and residing in Beijing.
He has held solo exhibitions at contemporary Chinese galleries in London, Q Gallery in Tokyo, Soobin Art Gallery in Singapore, Albert Gallery in Paris, Now Gallery in Beijing, Yian Gallery in Shanghai, Art Side Gallery in Korea, Jack Tilton Gallery in New York, TENSTHALL in Sweden, Taikang Life Insurance Rooftop Space, MARELLA ART CONTEMPORANEA Gallery in Italy, Dolores Sierra Gallery in Spain, Hunan Provincial Museum in Art Changsha, White Box in 798, Hangukjae in Seoul, and YUAN MUSEUM in Beijing, among others.
