Biography
Su Xinping, born in 1960 in Jining City, Inner Mongolia, joined the army in 1977 to serve in the military. He graduated from the Department of Painting at Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts in 1983 and afterwards taught at the Department of Fine Arts at Inner Mongolia Normal University. In 1989, he graduated from the Printmaking Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts with a master’s degree and stayed on to teach. From 2014 to 2022, he served as the Vice President of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. He is currently the Director of the Academic Committee, professor, and doctoral supervisor at the Central Academy of Fine Arts.
